Spring: A Season of Hope... and Gardening

Winter has lifted, frost is out of the ground, and it's time to participate in the one sacred activity that is the basis for all human abundance: capitalizing on the sun and earth's capacity to produce food.

It may seem a small thing, but growing a garden, according to Michael Pollan in this week's NYT magazine, is one of the few large-impact actions we can take as individuals.
